The agency pays for portals, the website and sign boards, so every lead belongs to the company. Every new contact goes into the CRM first.
A commission discount is decided only by the team lead and is recorded in the CRM. A broker never promises one on their own.
Sharing commission with other brokers is possible only agency-to-agency, under a written co-broking agreement signed by management. Never personally and never in cash.
If the buyer, seller or tenant is a relative or a friend, or you are buying or renting a property for yourself or your family, disclose it in writing to your team lead before you act. And tell the other party to the deal.
Situation. A developer's sales manager offers Alina K. a “personal bonus” of AED 5,000 for every deal closed on his project — paid to her card.
What to do. Alina refuses: personal payments from developers are not allowed. She tells her team lead, Anna P., about the offer. If the developer wants to reward sales, the payment is made to the company.
Situation. Yousef K.'s client suggests: “Let's do the deal directly, without the agency — I'll pay you half the commission.”
What to do. That is a deal around the company. Yousef says no and passes the commission question to his team lead, who alone decides whether a discount is possible.
Below is the checklist on gifts and conflicts of interest. Go through it before any non-standard deal.
