Any property advertising, including your personal Instagram, TikTok and Stories, is published only with the advertising permit required in your market and only from the company's listing. The rules for your market are in the module “Licence and advertising rules”.
A personal post about a property is allowed only as a repost of the company's permitted listing, with the permit details. No claims such as “exclusive” or “best price on the market” that you can't back up.
Without the client's written consent you may not publish:
A photo of “happy buyers with their keys” only if the client has agreed in writing.
We don't discuss other agencies or brokers in public: not in posts, comments or replies to reviews. Compare your work with facts, not with other people's mistakes.
The UAE has Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Rumours and Cybercrimes. Publishing someone's photos or data without consent, defamation and false information are offences. That applies to personal accounts too.
Situation. Alina K. wants to post a video tour of a new villa the agency has just taken on to her Instagram. The listing hasn't been published on the portal yet.
What to do. Until the company has a published listing with a permit, she can't post. Once the listing is live, Alina reposts it with the permit details — and without the word “exclusive” unless the agency has an exclusive agreement.
