Welcome to the team:meet our October newcomers
Four new colleagues joined us in October. Let us meet them: where they come from, which languages they speak, what they will focus on and who is helping them settle in during their first weeks.
October has been a month of growth for us. Four people joined the team at once, and each brought their own experience, from hospitality to banking. If you have not met them yet, here are short profiles. Drop by for a coffee and introduce yourself.
Hassan T.
Hassan spent five years in the sales team of a large hotel and is used to demanding guests. He speaks Arabic and English. He will focus on apartment rentals and corporate clients.
Fun fact: Hassan can name a coffee brand by its smell — tested on the whole office kitchen.
Mariam R.
Mariam comes from banking, where she worked in mortgage lending. She speaks Arabic, English and French. Her focus is buyers purchasing with a mortgage: she knows exactly what worries a client at the bank.
Fun fact: Mariam has run three half marathons and is already inviting colleagues to the next one.
Elena V.
Elena worked for several years at a real estate agency in Europe and has now moved here with her family. She speaks Russian, English and German. She will work with families relocating for work who are looking for villas and townhouses.
Fun fact: Elena has a collection of forty board games and promises to host a games night for the team.
Dmitry S.
Dmitry comes from IT sales and loves structure: the first thing he did was set up his own pipeline in the CRM. He speaks Russian and English. His focus is investors and off-plan projects.
Fun fact: Dmitry studies Arabic for fifteen minutes every morning and already greets colleagues in it.

Mentors
Every newcomer has a mentor. Hassan and Mariam are working with Khalid A., our senior broker: he takes them to his viewings and reviews their first calls with them. Elena and Dmitry are with Anna P., our team lead: she helps them set up their CRM work and their first shortlists for clients.
How onboarding works
- Week one. The Welcome module in the Academy: who we are, how the agency works, who to ask when in doubt.
- Weeks two and three. Lessons on leads and viewings, joining the mentor's viewings, first calls on their own.
- By day thirty. Their first own viewings and a conversation with the mentor about what is going well and where help is needed.
We grow because people with different backgrounds join us. Our job is to give them everything they need in the first month to work with clients confidently.
How to help the newcomers
Invite one of them to your viewing, share a shortlist that worked well, or simply tell them how you handled your first difficult deal. Conversations like these often give more than any lesson.
If you were once a newcomer on our team, think about what helped you most and share it with your new colleagues. Welcome, Hassan, Mariam, Elena and Dmitry!
